FEAR AND HOW TO DEAL WITH IT!
Matt
24:6-8
6 And ye
shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation
shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these
are the beginning of sorrows.
Luke
21:26
26 Men's
hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things
which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
The word “troubled” in Matthew 24:6 is the Greek throeo
which means “to wail; to clamor; to frighten.” Jesus, as reported by Matthew,
says not to yield to this kind of panic because “the end” is not yet. He does,
however, go on to say that these are the beginning.
Ps
91:4-6
4 He shall
cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth
shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou
shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth
by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness.
Dear
Lord, calm the fears of your people today. AMEN
