IN ALL POINTS!

Heb 4:14-16

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

           Does Jesus understand my pain and my temptations? The Bible seems clear that He does! Why would an invisible Spirit take upon Himself human flesh and become a baby without experiencing all the things of normal humans? It just wouldn’t make sense.

           Jesus understood the heat of the day and the cold of night. He felt rejection and who can deny that he understood what it was like to be misunderstood? Hunger plagued him just like others (Matthew 4:1-2).

           Jesus has earned credibility with us because of the things He willingly suffered. We can come boldly [confidently] to Him with any and all of our troubles. He’s been there and done that!

Dear Lord of Heaven, thank you for coming to associate with those of Earth. Thank you for understanding! Thank you for caring! I know I can bring my cares to one who cares. Hear the prayer of your children this morning. AMEN
