CONSEQUENCES!
Gal
6:7
7 Be not deceived; God is not
mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Job
4:8
8 Even as I have seen, they that
plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.
Dr. Charles
Stanley defines consequences as “The price
we pay or the benefit we derive from our decisions.” According to multiple
sources on the Internet, the average amount of remotely conscious decisions an
adult makes each day equals about 35,000. In contrast, young children
only make about 3,000 decisions each day.
Every
decision we make is a seed sown in the rich
soil of circumstances. Decisions change the course of history! It may take a
season before the harvest but the harvest will surely come.
Youth and
inexperience often make bad decisions and plant
the seeds of retribution and difficulty. These need not be permanent and by
them we grow in wisdom and experience. Literally, we learn by our mistakes not
to make those same mistakes again. At the end we are able to give sage advice
to younger people if they will listen. If they do not listen they learn through
consequences.

Cor 10:9-11
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as
some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of
them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened
unto them [the Jews in the wilderness] for ensamples: and they are written for
our admonition.
Dear Lord, with 35,000 decisions to
be made today, there is a strong possibility that I will make a few bad
decisions. Lord, be gracious and merciful when I act stupidly. AMEN
