MAKE HIM WIDELY KNOWN!

Prov 3:5-8

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

           Pastors are, in a very real sense, first responders. The bell clangs and we bunker up and mount the fire engine to go off to who-knows-where to do who-knows-what to fix something or someone who is broken. Even Jesus said he had come to mend the broken hearted.

Luke 4:18

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

            Often we forget who is supposed to do what and we wear ourselves out trying to make the crooked paths and crooked people straight. It’s not our job! Our job is to make Him widely known.

Dear Lord, in all my ways help me to make you widely known. AMEN
