UNCONSCIOUS MINISTRY!

UNCONSCIOUS MINISTRY!

Matt 25:35-40
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

           The unconscious acts we do are noticed by “The King”! He sees the unconscious ministries we perform and also the thoughtless acts of selfishness and sin. We often fail to see the Master in the men we help. Jesus said: “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

           Trifling services may receive a glorious reward! The smallest gesture or kindness is marked for future commendation. It is an amazing thing to consider but those things that take place without forethought show our real heart and motive.

Cicero writes thus to Plautius, "I would have you think that whatever friendly service, or good advice, you shall bestow upon my friend Fumius, I shall take it as kindly as if it had been done to myself,"
(from The Biblical Illustrator)

Matt 10:42
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Give Of Your Best To The Master
By Howard B. Grose

Give of your best to the Master;
Naught else is worthy His love.
He gave Himself for your ransom,
Gave up His glory above.
Laid down His life without murmur,
You from sin's ruin to save.
Give Him your heart's adoration;
Give Him the best that you have.

Lord, though oft times weary, I know I will never regret the good things done in this life. Thank you for your amazing gift of salvation. AMEN
