GOD
IS WATCHING!
Gal
6:7-8
7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap.
8
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that
soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

variation of a story tells of a slave who was sent by his master with a basket
of fruit and a letter to be delivered to a nearby friend. The fruit was a gift
and the letter explained the occasion for it. Along the way the slave decided
to eat the fruit but he delivered the letter. When the slave returned home he
was beaten for his sin.

the plantation owner sent the same slave with a similar basket of fruit and a
similar letter. The slave, who could not read, decided there was magic in the
letter and that it had magic eyes and ears. He buried the letter in the ground
and then sat upon it while he ate the fruit. After finishing his fruity snack
he dug up the letter and delivered it just as he had the first one. When he
returned home he was beaten again.

we try to outsmart God we find ourselves to be unevenly matched in the
conflict. Our arms are too short to box with God! God does have eyes
and ears.
Heb
4:13
13
And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are
open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to
do.

Dear
Lord, for those of us who love and trust you, there is a comforting aspect to
this truth. We know you see us in our times of trouble in need. Every hair of
our head is numbered and you care for the sparrow that falls. Thank you for
your close attention and tender care. AMEN
