HAVE KISSED EACH OTHER!

Ps 85:10

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Israel had a long record of "turning to folly"! (Read verse 8) According to the book of Judges, seven different nations were sent by God to chastise Israel; each time they repented, but they always lapsed back into idolatry again.

Mercy and truth collaborated together and concurred that righteousness and peace should be restored once again “but let them not turn again to folly.” Only in Christ can mercy and truth become friends, for if you tell the truth, you may not receive mercy!

Rom 3:20-21

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law [that which we earn and deserve] there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets.

Dear Lord, You are amazing in your mercy even though you know the truth about me. Thank you for the grace that saves. AMEN
