TRUE WISDOM IS GODLINESS!
Prov 9:7-10 KJV
7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
True wisdom has a moral rather than an intellectual quality. It does not require nor does it discount formal learning. John Wesley said: “When I was young I was sure of everything; in a few years, having been mistaken a thousand times, I was not half so sure of most things as I was before; at present, I am hardly sure of anything but what God has revealed to me.”
1. TO BE “FOOLISH” IS TO BE GODLESS!

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2. TRUE WISDOM IS A GIFT FROM GOD TO THOSE WHO ASK FOR IT!
James 1:5 KJV
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
