UNFINISHED BUSINESS!
Col 4:17
17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
KJV
Col 4:17
17 And say to Archippus, See that you discharge carefully [the duties of] the ministry and fulfill the stewardship which you have received in the Lord.

Who was Archippus? He was possibly the son of Philemon since he is mentioned there and might have been ministering in the absence of Epaphras.
“Whatever his problem, he was not fulfilling (completing) his work. This was another example of Paul's concern that the Colossians be complete in Christ.”

The idea of unfinished business was my first waking thought this morning. No explanation! No details, just the thought of unfinished business. Vocational ministry is like no other and everyone has his or her opinions about it. Those who have answered the call may still have an incomplete understanding of its parameters. It is a task that is not easily done and not easily set aside. Warren Wiersbe says, “Ministry is not something we do for God; it is something God does in and through us.”
Phil 1:6
6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

Dear Lord, as we see the end of our workday, help us to not stand around the time clock tapping our foot. AMEN
