SLEEPING IN A FOXHOLE!

Eph 6:12

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

           Try to imagine that you have landed in a foxhole with a soldier with whom you have some quarrel. Now you both need to cover for each other because the enemy does not care for your petty arguments. The enemy is intent on killing both of you. You immediately set aside your differences to fight a common enemy.

           Winston Churchill is supposed to have said “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”  Unfriendly friends need to realize that we are fighting a common enemy. We are not wrestling against “flesh and blood.” We need to stop fighting each other and turn our weapons against a spiritual foe intent on destroying all of us.
