LET HIM BE!
Rev 22:10-11
10 And he [the angel] saith
unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at
hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him
be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still:
and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is
holy, let him be holy still.
When
the end comes,
there will be no time for the reconstruction of a life of bad choices. He who
is unjust, adikeo, making wrong judgments, well,
just let him alone. He who is filthy, rhupoo – that
even sounds dirty – has no time for a bath. He that is righteous,
dikaios, equitable and upright in character, will remain so.
Those who are holy, hagios, are ones made
ceremonially pure and acceptable to God who has set the standard. No
adjustments are needed.
This
is tragic for
those “stuck” in their condition. It is also frustrating for those who sense a
need to improve the lot of others. We see souls that have traversed from bad to
better and we wish that for many others as well. But the sudden closing of the
door of opportunity leaves man in his present condition – whatever it is.
Matt 24:27
27 For as the lightning cometh
out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be.
Lord let my present
circumstance please you. Let me aid others as they struggle. AMEN
